The Festival is over, until when can I access the contents of the Video Platform?
The content associated to the programming broadcast on the Video Platform https://online.annecy.org/fr is available until 20th June 2021 at 11:59 pm. Only Mifa badgeholders can view it all until 31st December 2021 via the Video Library. The events’ replay is accessible to badgeholders until 31st December 2021. Log in to your Annecy Network and go to the programme on the Annecy Festival’s website https://www.annecy.org/programme-2021/ to have access to replaying the events.
Is the entire Official Selection available online?
The Official Selection will not be available in its entirety online. Programmes available on-site and online: Short Films in competition, Commissioned Films and Special Programmes. Can I watch the Selection from any country at any time?
You can access most films from all countries but exceptionally, due to the rights holders’ requirements, some films may not be accessible in certain territories. All the films are available to view starting from 14th June 2021 at 9:00 am (Central European Time – CET) and available to view at any time, until 19th June (23:59 Central European Time – CET).
Can I watch the films as many times as I want and on several different supports (television, tablet, etc.)?
No. You can watch up to 30 hours of content. A film will be considered viewed if 70% has been watched. It will not be possible to see the same film more than twice. You may browse the platform on different devices, but you can only use one device at any one time. We recommend viewing it on a PC or tablet to fully appreciate the content. You can also use Chromecast and AirPlay for recent versions, but this is not guaranteed.
Can I stop watching a film in the middle and then restart it later?
Yes. You can pause your current viewing. We advise keeping the window open, to resume watching later.
What type of Internet connection do I need to watch the films and what film quality does the viewing service provide?
In general the Viewing Platform is accessible via all network connections above 2Mb/s (standard DSL). The videos are adaptable: depending on your connection, the image adapts so that it does not stop and start. This can produce a certain loss of quality for the lowest outputs. The films are broadcast in 3 resolutions SD (540), HD (720) and FullHD (1080) and are accessible on computers, tablets and smartphones. Can I download the films available on the viewing platform?
No. The films are destined to be viewed exclusively on streaming. The films provided on the Viewing Platform are protected under Intellectual Property Law for France and the entire world.
Are the Moviegoers Online accreditation payments secure on the viewing platform?
Yes. During registration, in the confirmation, you can see the term "Stripe", which is our certified security "PCA level 1" conformed payment method signifying the highest security standard.
With my Moviegoers Online accreditation can I access the participants' list?
Your Moviegoers Online accreditation does not give you access to the list of participants. Only professional accreditations give access to this feature. Find all the information on accreditations here.

For a Moviegoers Online accreditation, your invoice will be sent by e-mail as soon as your order has been confirmed.
I cannot watch the content on the viewing platform, the film gets stuck, what should I do?
Make sure you are logged-on to an active subscription. If the film stops while its playing, your broadband is probably insufficient, manually select a lower video quality at the bottom right of the player. Make sure that your network is not overloaded by other uses (television via a box, online games, YouTube, etc.). Check that your browser is up to date here. There is an error message, what should I do?
The message "The simultaneous viewing limit has been reached on your account" appears for the following 3 reasons: when 2 people are viewing films simultaneously via the same account. when you load a film on 2 different devices (tablet and a computer for example). when you launch one film simultaneously on two tabs, or two windows on your browser. The message, "Unable to instantiate a key system supporting the required combinations" appears and I can't watch some videos, what
