Submit a film
Everything you need to know to submit a film to the competition
Do I have to pay to enter my film?
No, there is no entry fee required.
I submitted my film last year and it wasn't selected. Can I submit it again this year?
No, except if it was a Work in Progress.
Can I enter another episode of a series that was already selected?
I would like to submit a feature film. What are the entry conditions?
The feature should have been made for the cinema and should have a running time of at least 60 minutes. It should not have been commercially exploited in France (before or after its official release date) before the end of the Festival (19th June 2022).
I have made a short film that could be developed into a series or feature: how to submit it?
You can only submit your finished short to the official selection in the short film category. If you have developed this short film into a feature project you can submit it to the Mifa Pitches along with all the documents required by the regulations. However, the Mifa Pitches selection committee will evaluate it as a feature project and not judge the short film.
My film has been selected. Do I have to pay for the subtitling?
Short films: the Festival will subtitle non-French short films presented in competition using laser engraving. Non-French versions of feature films and TV films (series and TV specials) selected for the competition must be subtitled in French by the producers themselves, at their own expense. French features and TV films (series and specials) selected for the competition must be subtitled in English by the producers themselves, at their own expense. **Graduation films in competiti
If my film is selected, what's the deadline for sending in the screening copy?
