Am I allowed to take photos of the films screened in the theatres?
No, it is strictly prohibited to take any photos of the films in the theatres, or your accreditation will be cancelled immediately.
I am invited to a screening: how do I access the theatre?
Go to the "Guests" line at the Bonlieu or Pathé Annecy theatre entrances, with your ticket. The ticket will be scanned to control your entry into the theatre. Please note, if you arrive less than 10 minutes before the screening starts, your access into the theatre is no longer guaranteed.

What are the Annecy s'anime screenings and how do I access them?
The Festival offers Annecy s’anime screenings, adapted and dedicated to the general public to attend animation film premieres. They are programmed in Pathé Annecy. For these screenings, tickets are on sale on-site or online via the theatre's ticketing service. How do we know if a film is suitable for young viewers?
Some films are not suitable for all ages. Each film descriptive shows the audience age group (family, adolescent, adult). For the youngest we propose the short film programmes especially for Young Audiences.
I am attending with my children, can they access the same screenings as me?
Children can access the film theatres with an accreditation or a ticket For security reasons and reasons of comfort, children under the age of 3 are not allowed in the theatres.
I have a pet, can it come onto the event's site with me?
Animals are not allowed in the cinema theatres, Exhibition Area or the Imperial Palace (except guide dogs).
What objects are authorized or prohibited inside the film theatres?
In the context of the Vigipirate plan, it is prohibited to enter any of the Festival venues with any potentially dangerous object (motorbike helmet, knives, glass bottles, etc.) or voluminous items (luggage, travel bags, kick-scooter, skateboards, etc.). We do not provide luggage locker facilities at the Festival. We kindly request that you leave your bags and other large items at your accommodation.
How can I attend the opening and closing ceremonies?
Access to the opening and closing ceremonies is by invitation only. If you receive an invitation, come to the "Invitations" office at the Festival Welcome Area and collect your ticket.
How can I benefit from the simultaneous translation of events?
Some events provide simultaneous translation. To take advantage of this service bring your personal earphones or headsets. No equipment will be provided due to health reasons. Go to the theatre entrances to start the simultaneous translations.
