As stated in the General Terms and Conditions related to the Annecy 2021 accreditations, for the Hybrid or Online formulas, any cancellation request must be sent to accreditation@citia.org. The refunds will be carried out after the event.

You have a 14-day withdrawal period after the purchase date, during which time your accreditation can be fully refunded.

Beyond 14 days, a deduction of 20% VAT incl. of the accreditation price will be applied.

However, if you participate in an online or on-site event or screening (whether you are within the 14-day withdrawal or not), you will have deliberately used the benefits of the accreditation and therefore waiver your right to withdrawal. The Annecy 2021 accreditation will automatically be available to you. No refund will be carried out.

Furthermore, no refund requests will be treated from 14th June 2021.

However, if you are unable to travel because you have contracted the Covid-19 virus or are a Covid-19 contact case (documentary proof is required), your accreditation will be refunded in full.

I need a VISA to come to Annecy, how do I get one?

All foreign nationals (non-EU) wishing to come to France, even for professional reasons, need to be able to present regulatory documents at the border indicating the purpose of stay, means of subsistence and accommodation conditions.

Generally, unless exempted, a visa is necessary, which must be requested prior to departure from the French Embassy or Consulate in the applicant's country of residence.

If you are a citizen of the European Union (EU) You don't need a visa, just an identity card.

For citizens outside of the EU An up-to-date passport, issued less than 10 years ago, is mandatory. The validity should be more than 3 months after the allocated visa.

If you can't go to Annecy for the Festival but would like to enjoy the event, the Festival+ Online accreditation enables you to view numerous content (short films, speaking events, etc.) to discover animation in all its forms.

This accreditation is intended for professionals and teachers in the field of film, television and multimedia.

Where can I buy an accreditation on-site?

Accepted Answer

It is possible to purchase accreditations on-site from the Sunday prior to the Festival opening until Friday midday at the Festival or Mifa Welcome Areas.

All information concerning the Festival and Mifa Welcome Areas and their opening times are available here.

In 2021, due to the current health context, the number of accreditations sold will be limited. Closing the sale of one or several types of accreditations could be likely if the limited number is reached.
